UK Association for Medical Aid to Sri Lanka is a registered charity aiming to help improve medical facilities in Sri Lanka. Started in 1995, they have donated a range of equipment and medical supplies to various governmental health institutions and have also supported training of health workers. Immediately after the Tsunami they raised funds to rebuild destroyed and damaged homes. They are continuing to support victims by raising funds for house building projects, although their main aim remains medical aid.
